Social Media...Good or Bad

When I served my mission in the mid-90s, there were only a few ways to contact potential investigators about the gospel.

1. We could track (during the day, most people weren't home).

2. We could go street contacting (most people were hurrying to/from work/lunch.

3. We could hope to visit with members to gather referrals (but see #1)

4. We could stay in the apartment & make calls to old contacts (again, see #1)

Now, social media is a main source of sharing the gospel. Two of my daughters served missions in the US in the last 5 years and used social media as their main mode of contact, with quite a bit of success. So there are many good uses for social media, used in moderation.
